WILHELMY Jean Baptiste
(1863 - 1941)
Grosbous
Jean Baptiste WILHELMY was born in 1863 in Grosbous, where his father Jean was a Blechschmied.
Jean Baptiste followed in his father’s footsteps and became maître ferblantier. He married Elisabeth FRISCH born in Haller/Waldbillig and the couple set up home in Diekirch. They had six children. One of their sons emigrated to USA and the youngest also became maître ferblantier.
IN 1917 WILHELMY registered a company for articles de ferblanterie in Luxembourg-Hollerich. He probably left Diekirch and transferred his business to Hollerich.
WILHELMY died in Hollerich in 1941.
