WEINER Pavel
Pavel (Pierre?) WEINER was born in Saaz (Czechoslovakia) in 1888.
He came to Luxembourg around 1920 when he was in his early 30s. It has not been possible to retrace his professional career. His name was mentioned only once in the local press, namely in 1947, when he was appointed consul for Czechoslovakia in Luxembourg. (He resided in 32 avenue Guillaume.)
From WEINER’s patents we learn that:
his occupation in 1951 was industriel.
in 1957 he was “without nationality, formerly of Czechoslovakian nationality”
in 1962 he was “a subject of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, formerly stateless”
as of 1957, at least, he resided in 15 Boulevard Roosevelt in Luxembourg-city.
Pavel’s brother Antoine WEINER (1887-1965) also settled in Luxembourg, probably in the late 1930s.
Pavel WEINER died in Luxembourg in 1980, but was buried in Evian-les-Bains.
