WECKBECKER Raoul

Johann Peter Raoul WECKBECKER was born in Luxembourg-city (Gross-Gasse).

He was the son of Ignace Guillaume WECKBECKER (1822-1885), pharmacien, and Laure HELDENSTEIN (1822-1896).

Ignace Guillaume was born in Cochem (Prussia) and Laure was born in Luxembourg-city. The latter was the daughter of a pharmacien in Luxembourg-city (139 Grand’rue).

The WECKBECKER-HELDENSTEIN couple married in 1849 in Luxembourg-city. Son Raoul qualified as pharmacien in 1877 and in 1885 he took over his father’s pharmacie. He died in 1892 at the age of 36 (ehelos).
