WAMPACH François

François WAMPACH, born in 1856 in Grevenmacher, was the son of Nicolas WAMPACH, Zimmermann. François followed in his father’s footsteps and became also a Zimmermann. He set up in Grevenmacher a Bau- und Möbelschreinerei mit Zimmerei.
In 1878 he married Anna (Nanny) PHILIPPE, Kleinhändlerin, in Grevenmacher. In 1894 he advertised, presumably his wife’s business, as Franz WAMPACH-PHILIPPE, Butterhändler.
WAMPACH died in Grevenmacher in 1938 at the age of 82.
