WAGNER Jean

Jean WAGNER was born in Berg/Mersch in 1831. His father was a maréchal-ferrant (Hufschmied).
In 1854 he married Thérèse BALTUS, also born in Berg, daughter of a farmer. In the marriage record WAGNER is said to be a Schlosser.
Soon after his marriage he must have settled in Larochette where his first child was born in 1856. The couple had 14 children, all born in Larochette.
The 1875 Larochette Census shows that Jean employed one assistant (Mechanikergesell).
Jean WAGNER died 1915 in Larochette.
