WAGENER Pierre

Pierre WAGENER was born in Limpertsberg, son of the couple Nicolas WAGENER and Elise POTHAS. Father Nicolas was a Zimmermann. He registered his company in 1910 (Maître-charpentier et menuisier).
Pierre followed in his father’s footsteps and became a Schreinermeister, and so did his three younger brothers Jean (b. 1893), Auguste (b. 1898) and Eugène (b. 1901). The four sons joined the family enterprise.
In 1917, the eldest son Pierre married Susanna MATHEKOWITSCH, born in Mühlenbach and forthwith used the double family name WAGENER-MATHEKOWITSCH.
Following the death of Nicolas WAGENER in 1935, the four sons founded in 1936 the company “Nicolas WAGENER fils s.e.n.c.” to carry on the family business in Limpertsberg (77 Baumbuschavenue):

Die Gesellschaft hat zum Zweck die Ausführung von Schreinereiarbeiten und Zimmermannsarbeiten sowie die Anfertigung sämtlicher mit diesen Handwerken verbundenen Arbeiten.

Pierre WAGENER died in Luxembourg-city in 1974.
