TRAUSCH Ernest

Ernest Nicolas TRAUSCH was born on the Leymühle (Neymühle) near Filsdorf/Dahlheim. His father was a meunier.

IIn 1937, at the age of 17, he took already an interest in patenting inventions (see Addendum).
Ernest helped his father to run the family mill, but in the 1940s he was drafted into the German Army and was sent to fight in Russia.
Upon his return to Luxembourg he obtained in 1946 three related patents in Luxembourg on “silent” fire arms.
TRAUSCH died in a tragic car accident in 1958 at the age of 38.
