SCHORTGEN Aloyse

Aloyse SCHORTGEN was born in 1914 in Junglinster. His father’s occupation was Schneidermeister.
In the late 1920s Aloyse enrolled in the technical training course of the DUCHSCHER company in Wecker.
In 1939 he married Lisy (Elise) HOESER, and set up an “Atelier de réparation” in Junglinster. He also obtained the State qualification to act as driving instructor.
Around 1975 Aloyse closed his atelier in Junglinster and opened in 1977 a car repair atelier in Tétange under the name of “Lux-Garage”.
Elise HOESER died in 1984 in Differdange and Aloyse SCHORTGEN died in 1991 in Esch-sur-Alzette.
