SCHLEICH August

August SCHLEICH was born in Ettelbruck in 1905. He was the son of Johann Baptist SCHLEICH and Thérèse CORRING.
They ran a shop in Ettelbruck under the commercial name of “Joh. Bapt. Schleich-Corring, Uhrmacher, Bijoutier, Gold- und Silberwaren, Optik“.
In 1928 the shop was taken over by Henri DE LA GARDELLE who was married to Auguste’s sister Marguerite (b. 1909). There is no evidence that August had a family of his own and it has not been possible to determine his occupation.
In 1958 he lived in 19 rue Guillaume, Ettelbruck.
August SCHLEICH died in Wiltz in 1988.
