PUTZ Nicolas

Nicolas PUTZ was born in 1926 in Volmérange (FR).
His father’s occupation was Schmied.
During the NAZI occupation Nicolas was enrolled by force into the R.A.D. (Reichsarbeitsdienst). In July 1944 he was sent to Poland. He deserted, however, in December 1944 from the R.A.D., but was caught and put into prison in Germany for four months. He returned home in April 1945.
He became an ouvrier d’usine and resided in Dudelange (rue de Luxembourg).
In 1949 he married Nadja MAKAREWITSCH.
Nicolas PUTZ died in 1977 in Dudelange.
