PAULUS Joseph

Joseph Henri PAULUS was born in 1884 in Esch sur Alzette. His father Joseph PAULUS (sr) was an Accisenbeamter.
Joseph PAULUS (jr) became géomètre and married Margaretha DIDERT in 1912. The couple settled in Esch sur Alzette and had two children. In 1919 Joseph was elected councillor of the city of Esch sur Alzette.
In 1923 his name wass mentioned in the press as industriel and in 1923 as directeur de cinéma (“Nouveautés Palace”).
By 1929 Joseph and his wife ran the “Café Jos Paulus-Didert” in 3 rue de la Fontaine, Esch sur Alzette.
Joseph PAULUS died in 1931 at the age of 46.
