MULLER Egon Nicolas
Egon (Nicolas) MULLER was born in Esch sur Alzette on 19 June 1912.
In 1930 he passed his examen de capacité in the Ecole industrielle et commerciale of Esch sur Alzette.
He lived in Esch sur Alzette on 17 rue du Faubourg, at least from 1936 to his death in 1955.
No other information is publicly available on MULLER. Between 1934 and 1938 he obtained a number of patents in Luxembourg, France, United Kingdom and the USA, on 11 different inventions. His field of activity was electronic engineering.
After World War II he obtained 4 more patents, one of them in 1947 relating to an “educational toy and game”. Two of his US patents, which issued in 1941, were vested (seized) by the US authorities under the “Trading with the Enemy Act” as property of “nationals of a foreign country”.
All MULLER’s patents issued in his own name, rather than in the name of a company. It must be assumed that he was an independent engineer, licensing his patents to industry.
Egon Nicolas MULLER died in 1955 in Esch sur Alzette.
