MERTEN Victor

Victor MERTEN was born in Grevenmacher in 1903. His father Michel was an Arbeiter.
Victor joined the Luxembourg Postal Service (P&T) as employé.
An extensive biography of MERTEN was published in 1968.
Besides being an inventor, MERTEN was a poet/playwright and accomplished musician/composer.
In the course of his employment contract with P&T, MERTEN changed his place of residence at regular intervals:

Grevenmacher, Differdange, Luxembourg-city, Vianden, Echternach, Bondorf and finally Olm.

Victor MERTEN died unexpectedly while visiting Paris in 1968.
