MEDAWAR André

André Antoine MEDAWAR was born in 1915 in Vichy (FR). He was of Lebanese descent.
He came to Luxembourg after WWII and co-founded the company SECALT (Société d’Etudes et de Construction d’Appareils de Levage et de Traction) which developed a hauling and hoisting apparatus named “TIRFOR”.
He was married to Monique RIPPINGER with whom he had a son (Roland).
André MEDAWAR died in Luxembourg in 1966 and was buried in Vichy.
