Johann Hans MANGLBERGER was of German origin (Bavaria).

In 1934 the factory moved to Luxembourg-Gare, Alfa-Passage III and in 1935 MANGLBERGER associated with E. GOEBBELS and incorporated the “Chocolaterie Moderne” into a new limited company called “Friandises s.à r.l.”. The object of the company was redefined as:

… fabrication et plus généralement le commerce des produits chocolatés et de confiserie, de tous produits accessoires et analogues à cette branche d’industrie, ainsi que d’autres comestibles de marque.
