MAMBOURG Mathias

MAMBOURG was born in Luxembourg-Hollerich in 1881 and became an engineer. In 1910 he married Catherine SCHOUPP. The couple had a daughter by the name of Edmée, born in 1921 in Esch sur Alzette.
The couple can be traced at the following adresses:

It is quite likely that MAMBOURG was an engineer in the steel works in Differdange (HADIR?). It is surprising, though, that he filed, in his own name, patent applications relating to the steel industry.
In 1949, at the age of 68 he obtained his last patent in Luxembourg.
MAMBOURG died in Luxembourg-city on 24 January 1960.
