LUTTY Edouard

(Jean) Edouard LUTTY’s father was a Schlosser in Luxembourg-Pulvermuhl and became later an employé communal.
In 1931 Edouard LUTTY qualified as “ingénieur EPF Zurich” in mechanical engineering.
He married Marie Juliette MENAGER in 1934 in Luxembourg. The couple had two children.
From the membership listings of the “Association des ingénieurs et industriels” the following places of residence of LUTTY can be retraced:

1933 Luxembourg-city (6 Montée du Grund)
1934 Echternach (rue des Remparts)
1936 Esch sur Alzette (12 rue Xavier Brasseur)
1938 Esch sur Alzette (rue du Soleil)
1946 Wasserbillig (92 rue de Luxembourg)
1971 Luxembourg-city (7 rue Ordre de la Couronne de Chêne)

Around 1946 LUTTY became head of the engineering department of the company CERABATI in Wasserbillig, a post from which he retired around 1970.
It is not known which professional activities he pursued in Echternach and Esch sur Alzette, prior to joining CERABATI.
Edouard LUTTY died in 1985 in Luxembourg-city.
