LAUTH Pierre

Piere LAUTH was born in Ettelbruck (um Eschenhievel) in 1893. His parents were Joseph LAUTH, (Anstreicher) and Maria KAISER (ohne Stand).
LAUTH became a photographer and around 1920 established his atelier in Luxembourg-city (Hl. Geiststrasse 6).
In 1924 he recorded his business in the Company Register: “Pierre Lauth, Luxembourg, photographe”.
In 1925 he was joined by Nicolas Josef DAMING and the company was renamed “Lauth & Daming”.
Pierre LAUTH was married to Auguste KOTTE. He died in 1948 in Luxembourg-city. He was by then a widower and had no children.
