KONNEN Albert

Albert KONNEN was born in Medernach in 1919. His father was a Distillateur.
Albert qualified as engineer.
As evidenced by the patents he obtained with Jean Pierre TANSON (1896 – 1971), the two engineers developed jointly in 1946 a Gewindewalzmaschine (thread rolling machine).
KONNEN later established his own company in Diekirch for assembling machinery for boucherie et charcuterie i.e. for mincing meat and forming it into sausages etc.
KONNEN died in Ettelbruck in 1981, at the age of 62.
