KIEFFER Antoine

Antoine KIEFFER was born in 1882 in Stadtbredimus. His father’s occupation was Winzer.
In July 1910 Antoine emigrated to Minnesota in the USA where his elder brother Nicolas (b. in 1872) ran a farm. The latter had emigrated to the USA in 1898.
Antoine became a Kutscher in a local College in Tacoma (Minnesota). It is not known how long he stayed in the USA.
In October 1914 he married Catharina ASSAND, born in Remerschen. She was the only surviving child of Peter ASSAND, Winzer, who had died in June 1914. He was a widower.
Antoine and Catharina settled in Remerschen, presumably in Catharina’s home, and Antoine also became a Winzer.
Antoine KIEFFER died in 1962 in Remerschen.
