KIEFFER Nicolas

Nicolas KIEFFER was born in 1898 in Stadtbredimus. His father was a Winzer.
Nicolas became an ingénieur-chimiste.
According to the membership list of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Ingénieurs et Industriels he resided from 1920 to 1922 in Steinfort and from 1923 to 1924 in Burbach/Saarland.
In 1924 he married Anne THEIS, born in Vianden in 1901, and became “directeur de la station vinicole Remich” in 1925.
When Nicolas KIEFFER obtained his patents in 1952/1953 he resided in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal (49 rue Laurent Menager). He carried the title of “Dr.-Ing.”
Nicolas KIEFFFR retired as director of the “Station vinicole” in 1963.
He died in 1981 in Echternach.
