HOFFMANN Eugène
Eugène HOFFMANN was born in Vichten in 1886. He was the eldest of four children of the couple Jean Baptiste HOFFMANN Eigentümer in Vichten and Marie Josephine SINNER.
Eugène studied at the “Staatsackerbauschule” and became a farmer. He was married to Maria THILGES.
He took an interest in politics and was député from 1916-1935, first for the Rechtspartei, and as of 1926 representative of a party he had created: “Bauern- und Mittelstandspartei”.

HOFFMANN was a controversial politician who generated a large number of notices in the local press.
Eugène HOFFMANN died in 1935 in Vichten as député et bourgmestre.
