HOFFELD Albert

Albert Jean Pierre HOFFELD was born in Berbourg/Manternach. His father was an Ackerer.
He qualified as pharmacien in 1918 and took over the Droguerie Kerschenmeyer in Luxembourg-city (boulevard du Viaduc) in 1922.
In 1925 he established his pharmacy in 25 avenue de la Liberté.
HOFFELD was associate in a number of companies and founding member of an association:

In the late 1940s HOFFELD’s son Paul (1923-1989) was agent sanitaire in the Belgian Congo and, when he returned to Luxembourg in the early 1950s, he undertook pharmaceutical studies and qualified as pharmacien in 1958. He presumably took over his father’s business.
Albert HOFFELD died in 1976 in Luxembourg-city.
