Paul Léon HIPPERT was born in Luxembourg-city. His father Hypolite Paul HIPPERTwas Reisender, Procurist in Manufacturwaaren. The family lived in Luxembourg-city (5 rue Saint Nicolas).
In 1907 Paul HIPPERT passed the examen de maturité and took up studies in sciences naturelles. He probably abandoned the study after two years and founded a company in 1910 for textiles en gros.
In 1930-1931 he associated with Joseph GINDORFF and obtained, as co-inventor, 6 patents relating to a most diverse technical spectrum. GINDORFF (1891-1948), was an électricien and a prolific inventor (30 different inventions made between 1917 and 1947).
HIPPERT died in 1947 in Luxembourg-city at the age of 60.
