HESSE Peter

Peter HESSE was probably born in Köln (DE). It is not known when he came to Luxembourg.
In 1925, when he obtained a Luxembourg patent, HESSE resided in Esch sur Alzette.
At that time he founded his business under the name of P. HESSÉ-MERTEN and started advertising his invention relating to Jalousie-Fensterläden.
Peter HESSE used the family name HESSÉ.
In September 1941 “Frau Theo HESSE-MERTEN” announced the death of her husband “Theo HESSE” and in October 1941 she announced that the company “Rolladen- und Jalousien-Fabrik Theo HESSE” wird in unveränderter Weise fortgeführt. Peter (Theo) HESSE was a member of the N.S. Reichskriegerbund (Esch Alzig) and N.S. Kriegsopferversorgung Luxemburg.
