HEINEN Jean
(1883 - 1973)
Stolzembourg
Jean HEINEN was born in 1883 in Stolzembourg, where his father was an Ackerer.
In 1908 he married Margaretha SCHON, born in Körperich, across the border from Vianden.
The couple settled in Stolzembourg where Jean was a Schmied. They had 10 children.
In 1918 HEINEN’s occupation was Arbeiter and in 1923 Krämer (small shop keeper, grocer).
The family probably moved to Dudelange in late 1923 where HEINEN worked as Zementartikelfabrikant.
In November 1923 he declared that he had to quit his work (presumably Schmied) some years earlier, due to health problems (see Addendum).
HEINEN died in 1973 in Ettelbruck, at the age of 90.
