HAMES Edouard

Edouard Everard HAMES was born in 1885 in Wiltz. His father was a Hotelier/Gasthofbesitzer in Niederwiltz.
Edouard completed his secondary education (Industrieschule) in Luxembourg-city and qualified as engineer in Liège (BE).
He presumably joined the steelworks in Dudelange around 1910.
In 1927, when he filed his Luxembourg patent application, he resided in Wolmerange-le-mines (FR), just across the French border from Dudelange.
In 1942 he married Anne BOEVINGER (b. 1904 in Dudelange).
Edouard HAMES died in 1959 in Dudelange.
