GROSBÜSCH Jean

Jean (Joseph) GROSBÜSCH was born in 1884 in Rosport. His father’s occupation was Schuhmacher.
In 1903 Jean completed his secondary studies at the Echternach Gymnasium and pursued further academic studies in Germany (Hohenheim).
In 1907 Jean graduated with a doctorate at the University of Bonn and obtained a teaching post at the “Ecole Agricole” in Ettelbruck.
He married Julie KOHNER in Clervaux in 1919.
In 1927 Jean took over the management of the “station agricole (chemisch-landwirtschaftliche Untersuchungsanstalt)” in Ettelbruck. He retired from this position in 1949.
Jean GROSBÜSCH died in Ettelbruck in 1969.
