GRAAS Adolphe

Adolphe (born as Johann) GRAAS was the illegitimate child of Regina GRAAS of Rumelange. Regina was Schankwirthin in Rumelange and widow of Nicolas STURM who had died in 1875.
Adolphe became a Hufschmied, and in 1907 he married Susanna SAND in Rumelange.
The couple settled in Rumelange and had two children. In 1917 Adolphe registered the following commercial activities in the Company Register:

cafetier, forgeron et fabricant de lampes

He was also mentioned as Grubenbesitzer in 1943.
Adolphe GRAAS died in 1959 in Rumelange.
