GOEMAERE César

In 1876 César GOEMAERE was employé de la Compagnie impériale et continentale du gaz, residing in Gent and his brother Arthur GOEMAERE was dispacheur, resident in Antwerpen.
The two brothers were co-founders of the company “La Vestale, Société anonyme pour l’éclairage et le chauffage par l’air carburé” in 1875. They had acquired two Belgian patents relating to a domestic heating system.
The company was dissolved in 1883.
César GOEMAERE later became négociant, courtier de navires. He died in 1918 in The Hague (NL) and Arthur GOEMAERE died in 1902 in Antwerpen (BE).
