Georges GLAESENER was the son of Jean Baptiste GLAESENER born in Berg (Colmar-Berg) in 1820.
The latter was Cassierer der königlichen Privat-Domäne and Bürgermeister in Berg up to around 1858 when he left Berg with his family for Châtillon (Virton) to set up a factory in Châtillon for manufacturing accumulateurs (secondary batteries). His occupation in 1859 became industriel.
Georges GLAESENER was born in 1863 in Châtillon/Virton.
When Jean Baptiste GLAESENER died in 1886, his three sons Michel, Jean Baptiste (jr) and Georges took over the management of the establishment.
The company closed in 1903
Georges GLAESENER died in 1921.
