GIESER Norberrt

Norbert GIESER was born in 1925 in Saarbrücken.
In the early 1940s he must have resided in Luxembourg-city to study at the “Institut supérieur de technologie (I.S.T.)”.
In July 1944 he was ordered by the NAZI occupant to join the “Reichsarbeitsdienst” R.A.D. in Rogasen (Poland).
On year later (in July 1945), he was reported in good health and spirits (“wuel a monter”) living in a Camp in France. He returned to Luxembourg in 1945 and completed his technical studies as ingénieur-technicien (mécanique ) in 1946.
In 1952 he joined the “Association des ingénieurs et industriels luxembourgeois”. He worked for the French company “Etabl. A. Bernhard Saint-Maur” in La Varenne (Seine), being resident in Luxembourg-city (7 rue Philippe II).
By 1954 GIESER’s occupation was ingénieur directeur technique of the Belgian company CELSA s.a. in Bruxelles (17, rue de Neufchâtel).
He finally settled in Minden (DE) in the 1970s, or earlier.
In 1989, when he filed his last patent application, he carried the titles of “Dipl. Ing, Dr. rer. pol. h.c”.
