GEIBEN Jean Pierre
Jean Pierre GEIBEN was born in 1891 on the “Massenmühle” in Cinqfontaines/Troisvierges, son of Michel GEIBEN, Müller and Suzanne THOMMES, ohne Stand. The mill was managed by Franz GEIBEN, the elder brother of Michel.
By 1900, Michel GEIBEN had left the mill with his family and was running a Café in Basbellain/Troisvierges. The family later took over the Café de la Poste inTroisvierges.
Jean Pierre GEIBEN became a coiffeur.
In 1918 he married Anna ARENS, born in 1894 in Troisvierges. At the time he was working as coiffeur in Born/Mompach.
The couple settled in Born where their first child was born. Their second child, however, was born in Troisvierges in 1921.
Jean Pierre’s father had died in 1905 and his mother had taken over the Café de la Poste which she transferred in 1921 to Jean Pierre. His occupation became cabaretier et coiffeur. According to his second patent he still resided in Troisvierges in 1923.
In 1927, however, Jean Pierre GEIBEN was residing in Esch sur Alzette. His occupation was Autovermieter.
Jean Pierre GEIBEN died in 1951 in Brussels, where he resided and was buried.
