GALES Théophile

Mathieu Théophile GALES was born in Diekirch in 1893. He was the son of a Gendarme.
Theophile joined the steelworks in Dudelange as Hüttenbeamter.
In 1919 he married Marie Louise MEHRING, born in Echternach.
By 1925 he had advanced to the position of Stahlwerksobermeister.
In 1933 Théophile GALES and Joseph DICKES (jardinier) founded the company “Prodiga” (Herstellung und Verkauf von Chemikalischen Düngern). The company was dissolved in 1938. Théophile also took a part in local politics in Dudelange.
Théophile GALES died in Dudelange in 1953.
