FLANDER François

François FLANDER was an Eisenbahnbeamter (chef de train) born in Luxembourg-Cessange in 1868. He was the son of a Taglöhner.
In 1894 he married Susanne BIDINGER with whom he had two children. After Susanne’s death in 1912 he married Anne MÜLLER.
He probably retired in the late 1920s.
In 1937 he developed his first door sealing system which he offered for sale in his private home (104 rue Adolphe Fischer) in Luxembourg-Gare. He patented a second system in 1947.
François FLANDER died in 1920 in Luxembourg-Gare.
