FIEDLER Félix
Félix FIEDLER (born as Michel FIEDELER) was born in Senningen/Niederanven in 1879. His father was a Taglöhner.
In 1906 Felix married Barbara NEYS of Eich. Félix resided in Senningen and was a Schreiner.
Félix and Barbara both had resided earlier in Nancy where they presumably met, and returned to Luxembourg-Eich to celebrate their wedding.
The couple settled in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie where Félix set up a Bau- und Möbelschreinerei. He became known as Unternehmer und Schreinermeister.
In 1925, the elder daughter of the couple FIEDLER-NEYS died, aged 18.
In May 1939 FIEDLER decided to retire and put his business up for sale (“wegen Aufgabe des Geshäftes”). It would appear that he did not manage to sell his atelier and machinery in the early 1940s of WWII. In 1946 he announced the re-opening of his Sarg- und Möbel-Lager in Bonnevoie.
Félix FIEDLER died on 1 April 1950, only 2 weeks after the death of his wife.
