ESCHWEILER Franz

Franz ESCHWEILER was born in 1889 in Bonnevoie, son of Laurenz ESCHWEILER (Lokomotivführer) and Maria THEVES. His father was born in Euskirchen (DE) and his mother was born in Bonnevoie.
Franz became a Schlosser. In 1913 he married Katharina THEWES and settled in Bonnevoie (Luxemburgerstrasse 40).
In 1924 François (Franz) opened an épicerie in Bonnevoie. In 1936 he added the trade name “Favorite”, for fabrication et vente de cires encaustiques.
Katharina THEWES died in May 1965 and Franz ESCHWEILER died soon after in Bonnevoie in December 1965.
