ELTZ Jean Baptiste

Jean Baptiste ELTZ was born in Vianden on 24 December 1830, son of a cloutier.
Both his parents were born in Vianden.
When he applied for his patent in 1863 he gave his occupation as fabricant de syrop in Vianden. By 1866 he had become Gemeindeeinnehmer, which is also the position which he held when he married Catharina MÜLLER in 1868.
Catharina died in 1870 and Jean Baptiste died soon after, in 1872. He was recorded in the Vianden Death Register as Handelsmann.
