Charles Jules Pierre DESNOS-GARDISSAL, civil engineer (Ecole Centrale de Paris), was a patent agent in Paris, director of the firm “Office international des brevets”, director of the magazine “l’Invention” and “solliciteur de brevets”.
While representing individual inventors, he was also the owner of a large number of French patents himself, obtained in the 1850s and 1860s in various technical fields.
He was born in Paris in 1832 and died in 1882 in his second residence, situated in Seine-et-Oise.
