COLLARD Auguste

Auguste Narcisse COLLARD was born in L’Épine/Marne (FR) in 1832, son of a tisserand.
He became a mécanicien, training first in Cernon/Marne (FR) and settling in Luxembourg (Bettendorf) in the late 1850s.
COLLARD had already close connections to Luxembourg in 1857 while he still resided in France (see “Patents details”).
In 1860 he married Marie Joséphine GOEDERT, resident of Tandel, daughter of a tanneur.
The couple settled first in Bettendorf and later in Christnach.
Auguste COLLARD died in 1917 in Ettelbruck.
