CLEMENT Henri

Henri CLEMENT was born in 1919 in Steinfort, son and only child of a Metzgermeister.
From at least 1936 Henri resided in Ettelbruck and studied at the Diekirch Gymnasium where he passed his Reifeprüfung in 1940.
Henri studied medicine during the WWII years and subsequently emigrated to the Belgian Congo to serve in a local hospital (specialised in leprosy). He was married to Dr Irmhild KLEIN with whom he had a daughter, born in 1958.
In 1961 he returned to Luxembourg, and established a medical cabinet as general practitioner in Ettelbruck (first in 15 rue Dicks, and later in 77 avenue L. Salentiny). He also practiced in Institut Héliar in Weilerbach.
In 1990 he retired and passed his medical practice on to a successor.
Henri CLEMENT died in 2001 in Ettelbruck.
