CHARLES Auguste

August Anton CHARLES was born in Paderborn (DE) in 1814.
He came to Luxembourg in the late 1840s where he acted as banker and insurance broker.
He was married to Sophie SIEBERT. Their first child was born in Luxembourg-city in 1854. The couple resided in 314 Fischmarkt.
When the LIPPMANN family left Luxembourg in 1861 Auguste CHARLES took over their glove factory located in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie.
August CHARLES died in 1870 in Bonnevoie.
