BEFFORT Mathias

BEFFORT was born in Pfaffenthal on 2 August 1823 into a family of tisserands going back at least 4 generations, to 1700.
In 1858 BEFFORT became contre-maître tisserand in the prisons of Luxembourg-Grund.
He was married to Johanna ADAM and had four children. He resided with his family in Luxembourg-Grund (Münsterstrasse) and later retired to 11 Fleschierstrasse.
Mathias BEFFORT (Staatspensionierter) died in 1905 in Luxembourg-city (Wilhelmsplatz).
