BECKER Jules

Jules BECKER was born in 1882 in Pétange where his father Jacques BECKER was a Handelsmann.
Jules became Fensterreiniger and resided in Luxembourg-city.
In 1911 he married Anna GÜLLECK, daughter of Franz GÜLLECK, Fensterreiniger; the family GÜLLECK was of German origin.
In 1924 the couple BECKER-GÜLLECK resided in Luxembourg-city (Brückenring 6).
The advertisements of the “Institut de nettoyage de glaces et de vitrines Jules Becker” in 1956 suggests that Jules BECKER took over his father-in-law’s business when the latter tragically died in 1916.
The Jules BECKER company was probably taken over by one of his sons, also called Jules and subsequently by a family member named François BECKER.
It is not known when and where Jules BECKER died.
