BASTIEN Dominique

Dominique BASTIEN was born in Arlon in 1805 and by the early 1830s had moved to Longwy. His occupation was représentant de commerce.
He was married first to Adeline MARTIN and, after her death in 1835 , he married Virginie ROSSET in 1839. He resided in Longwy.
In 1849, when he filed his patent application, he indicated that he resided in Longwy but he also mentioned that he was “ancien directeur de messageries à Luxembourg”. It is thus possible that he resided for a while in Luxembourg around 1845.
Dominique BASTIEN died in 1890 in Longwy.
