ATTEN Jean

Jean François ATTEN was born in 1912 in Diekirch. His father was a Taglöhner.
Jean ATTEN became a Heizungsmonteur.
In 1935 he married Augustine FREISZ, born in Echternach in 1900, daughter of a Gendarm. The couple settled in Ettelbruck where they ran a Chemiserie-Chapelerie.
In the early 1950s Jean ATTEN took up a position in the tyre factory “Goodyear” in Colmar-Berg. The couple ATTEN-FREISZ sold their shop in 1952.
Jean became Chef der Rohrschlosser im Atelier Central. He retired in 1972.
Jean ATTEN died in 1999 in Ettelbruck.
